Despite his hemophilia, Alexei was a sunny child. By nature he was feisty like is sister, Anastasia.
His illness was hidden from the Russian people. This was probably a mistake. If the truth had been revealed there would have
been more sympathy for The Imperial Family. Alexei was almost 14 years old when he died.
